Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Ambien is pretty common to cause withdrawal. Serious withdrawal with seizures is possible but quite uncommon. Doxepin might cause renewed depression if stopped and not sleeping often causes problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman,
