What Are The Precautions To Be Taken After Typhoid Treatment?

maam/sir, i am suffering from typhoid since last 14 days , my course of medicines are over but doctor said that the bacteria will remain til six months from now,so, what precution shall i take
?,what food should i take?i am also having trmendous hair lose, wht shall i do?.plz suggest remadies! I m now 25yrs.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Following treatment for typhoid, you need to be in bland diet for at least 3 weeks. Gradually, you can switch over to normal diet.
Your diet should be less spicy and fat free with moderate quantity of carbohydrates and proteins. Consume home food only and strictly avoid outside food. Take care not to physically exert yourself and avoid strenuous activities.
Drink good quantity of water and take fresh fruit juices.
Hair loss is experienced by few like you during the course of treatment and illness, but gradually it will be back to normal. You may take multivitamin-mineral capsules for a month after 3 weeks.
