What Are The Effects Of Taking Aspirin During Pregnancy?

Iam 29 and 11 weeks pregnant,Ido not have high blood pressure. I weigh 8stone. Igo to the gym reg.Is it necessory to take Aspirin from 12 weeks which was mentioned at my hosp. check last week even if I don t have any probs. If I am prescribed it how long do Itake it for?Does it cause bleeding at delivery or miscarriage.Is it discontd. at 30 weeks?.Are there links between Aspirin and various birth defects eg. heart, bowel, cleft lip or palate.

Aspirin is given only in some disorders like autoimmune conditions where it is indicated so talk to your ob-gyn about it.
