What Are The Effects If A Dose Of Dronis 20 Is Missed?

our doctor suggested for dronis 20 for preventive pregnancy and she said that you take it from the fourth day onward from monthly cycle continuosly for 21 days (daily 1 pill)....is it necessary?? if we forget to take it from 4th day ..can we take it from 5th, 6th, 7th day or after... 21 tablet in a packets

Hi,

Normally each pack of dronis20 has 24 tablets. Normally one tablet is to be taken daily. You may start to take 1st tablet from first day of cycle to complete the cycle. After you take the last tablet, the periods of next cycle may be there within 3-6 days. However, if you start it on 4th day, then next period will be delayed for 3 days more. Similarly you may even start it on 5th, 6th 7th or so. However, if you start it more late of the cycle, then combined hormones of body and tablets may make the hormonal level imbalanced resulting in mid- cycle or irregular bleeding.
