Hello,
If you have always had regular 28-30 day cycles, been sexually active without proper contraception, pregnancy should be suspected. It is not early to test now. You can get a HPT with a fresh early morning sample or go for the serum beta-hCG titres and also a trans-vaginal sonogram to clarify the situation and confirm/exclude pregnancy conclusively. Cramps and spotting are seen in early pregnancy sometimes, but need to be documented to confirm. Hope you find this information helpful. Wish you good health.
