What Are The Chances Of Contracting HIV By Unprotected Sex?

Dear doctor my girlfriend and I had unprotected sex which lasted 5 minutes or less we stopped because i noticed abit of blood from her below the head of my penis could i be infected with HIV if we both are negative? I weigh 90kg and height is 1.78m tall

Hi.
if both of you are negative and its 100 % sure, then no chance of hiv. Hiv can spread by sexual contact only if one partner is affected otherwise no chance. But if you dont knw exact status of yours then its chance. many a time your antibodies test is negative still you have infection. so make sure about that you are not in window period. Otherwise you are safe.

Hi, if both of you are negative surly then there is no chance of infection. but may be you are in window period also.so you should go for confirmatory hiv testing once after a month of exposure. You can go with p24 antigen or pcr.
