What Are The Causes Of Redness In Areola And Feeling Of Hard Lump Under Nipple?

I woke up this morning and while preparing breakfast, i brushed past my left breast with my arm and there was discomfort. I looked at the breast and the areola is red. No rash, no cut. Touching the areola is very sensitive. Seems to be a very hard lump under the nipple.

hi.You need to get mammography done and see what this lump is and consult a surgeon. It can be an abscess if it is very painful and tender. By that time take some anti- inflammatory for pain.and proper support to breast.
