Hello For the past 6 months , you are taking cyproheptadine ( ciplactin) and dexamethasone ( dexona ) just for gain weight ?Quite amazing , no doubt ciplactin has minimum side effects but dexona , please note down these side effects: Growth retardation, osteoporosis , peptic ulcer , weight gain, glaucoma & subcapsular cataracts, vertebral compression fracture. Cushing s like features, pancreatic dysfunction & pancreatitis, G I upset, increased appetite, increased fragility of skin, increased susceptibility to infection ( lowers immunity). I mentioned all side effects produces by DEXONA for prolong use . However, side effects varies from person to person. These are most common side effects if used for long time ( dexona).
