What Are Episodes Of Spacing Out And Impaired Physical Functions Indicative Of?

I have been having episodes where I space out. My brain doesnt function normally. Sometimes I can hear and see people around me when this happens but I can not respond to them. It takes a while for my hands to function and move the way they are suppose to. The doctors here say they are seizures followed by Todd s Paralysis but the CT scan, EKG, and blood work all are normal. I have migraines often and I am sensitive to light and smells. Could there be another answer besides Epilepsy and Todd s paralysis if the tests are all normal?

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that epilepsy and todd's paralysis itself are the reason for your symptoms and need no further evaluation . If you develop new symptoms then do consult a neuro physician.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
