It is usually given for epilepsy and trigeminal neuralgia etc. Otherwise no. Nurokind and Meocal are vitamin supplements and can be taken. Side effects are very rare. However , please discuss it with his treating physician as he would know better since he has examined your son personally and done the investigations and reviewed it. If he is suffering from only dizziness get his BP checked. Blood sugars, hemoglobin , vitamin D, Vitamin B12 levels, serum electrolytes and thyroid function tests should also be done. Also a few very important things to note: you said your son is 14 right. Is he sleeping well? Eating balanced food? Drinking 10-12 glasses of water a day?
