Urine Infection, Fever. Treatment?

Dear Sir, I am Babu from chitradurga, on last month we admitted he my kid in st joh hospital for the treatmnte of urine infection , and on that time the infection is clered, adn we continued he same medicine also, but from last 10 days my kid is suffering from the heavy fever , we check the urine test at davanagere and lab is certified that the same urnie infection, really we unbale to understand for what reason same problem is repeating again and again, adn also we unable to contact and meet you due to non availability of appointmetn at St,john hospital, We request to give the alternative contact details and available date for us to meet.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your kid was admitted in St Johns Hospital Bangalore for UTI and was treated by antibiotics for couple of days was fine for few days.

You have not mentioned age of your child in your query.

Now he has recurrence of UTI.Recurrence of UTI in kids needs to be investigated to rule out few congenital abnormalities like Presence of Posterior Urethral Valve( PU Valve) or Vesico Ureteral Reflux.(VUR).

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical evaluation and get these done under his guidance

Further treatment will depend upon the final diagnosis.Till then continue the same treatment suggested earlier.
