Uncontrollable hand shaking radiating to arm, climate was not cold. What could be wrong?

This one time I was reading when I noticed my hand my hand was shaking uncontrolably. It wasn t cold that night and I tried to sit on it in the hopes it would stop but when I took it out again it was still shaking. I usually have a small shake to my hands but that time it was just so bad. It shook even worse than all the times I ve been extremely cold. It eventually climbed up my arm and soon my whole arm was shaking. What s wrong?

Welcome to HCM
With your history it is most likely that you had a episode of focal cunvulsions as it moved up to arm and hope fully subsided itself.
I think you should consult a Neurologist as this type of convulsions originate from our part of brain known as cerebral cortex.
There may be a focus to be examined and followed by EEG and CT Scan/MRI brain in hope to know the cause.
Other possibilities are a form of tetany caused by low calcium, rest tremors in old age Parkinson's disease, other abnormal movements are chorea and athetosis they are quite different.
Do not ignore abnormal movement
Please take care
Good luck to you
