Type II Diabetes, High Blood Pressure., Dizzy, No Strength. Could These Symptoms Also Be From Agent Orange Exposure?

Thank you. My husband was exposed to Agent Orange in Viet Nam and now has Type II Diabetes , and high blood pressure . The thing that worries me is his decrease in muscle strength. He is constantly dropping things and does not seem to have the upper body strength he used to have. His short-term memory is very bad and he forgets many things. Could these symptoms also be from Agent Orange exposure? By the way he is 64 years old.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

This may be a nervous system complication of long standing diabetes.
Diabetes aggravates brain atrophy and causes dementia.
Consult a neurologist and take an MRI of the brain.
