Tremors, Broken Blood Vessel At The Base Of Ring Finger. Is It Something Serious?

Yesterday, my husband's hands started shaking. They stopped after about an hour and have been doing it on and off yesterday, but not at all today. This has never happened to him before. He is 43 years old. He also had what looked like a broken blood vessel on the base of his finger, where he wears his wedding ring; possibly unrelated, but thought I should mention it. This morning, he dropped his bar bell using normal amount of weight as usual and actually fell into the wall. He has been running and lifting weights for 20 years; is fit and tone, but not a "muscle" guy. He takes no supplements or anything. He insist he doesn't need to see a doctor. Should I insist? Or could this just be stress because of our upcoming move. Thanks.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The tremors in the hand are commonly seen due to anxiety, excessive coffee or alcohol intake, thyroid hormone imbalance, fluid and electrolyte imbalances, etc. All these are benign causes and it will improve spontaneously.
