Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Since how long you have Hearing loss? If no physical ailment, and just a sensori-neural hearing loss, there are many causes, which needs detailed history of yours.

How old are you? General advice:

1. If you are comfortable with your hearing aids, keep it up.
2. avoid exposure to loud sound energies
3. avoid medications known to cause problems in hearing i.e. avoid ototoxic drugs, whenever you need to take medications and you have to warn your physician well before starting treatment for any ailment whatsoever.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. HIMANSHU DHANAK
