Treatment For Epilepsy, Please Guide Me

my sister 23yrs old has epilepsy and her left hand and leg have been affected by polio..recently she is suffering from vomiting which occurs daily for the past 1 month..she has suffered weight loss .. she has been treated under neurologist Dr. K.K Sinha ranchi jharkhand...
i wish there is some way stop the vomiting , her epilepsy attacks has lessened keeping it to 1 or 2 times in 2 month..
can anyone refer me a place where she can be cured completely
also pls. guide a good treatment place for her polio

Thanks for using Healthcaremagic. She is having refractory epilepsy (not responding to medicines). First of all we should know what is the type of epilepsy and choose appropriate medicines for that. If medicines wont work then we should see if we can offer surgery and cure the epilepsy. If she is right candidate surgery can cure epilepsy. However there is no cure for polio. We can only cure epilepsy. I hope you got the answer. Bye

thanks for choosing health care magic.First of all you need to know the reason for vomiting and weight loss.Continouos vomiting may due to some problem with digestive tract.Please see a physician in near by area for this.As far as treatment of polio is concerned after complete assessment what best can be offered needs to be seen.You can get in touch with polio foundation in ahmedabad whom i know they are charitable institute and offers good treatment.
