Treated MRSA Infection With Bactrum, Turned To Abscess. Had Shivering, Hot Flashes, Numbness In Arm, Back. Reason?
I am at the end of being treated for a MRSA infection that went to abscess. I had flu like symptoms in the beginning of the infection. Was treated at the VA hospital, the abscess was lanced and drained, I was treated with Bactrum and the abscess responded to the bactrum very well and seems to be healing nicely. After using all the antibiotics the leg is still healing good but I had another bout of Shivering and Hot flashes a few days ago. I'm also experiencing tingling and numbness in my left arm and across my back just below my neck. Is the tingling from the MRSA?

reason for the abscess in leg is important to know. if you are at risk for multiple abscess due to other medical problem, then your tingling sensation in arm could be due to another such abscess in arm. if not this may be unrelated.
