Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

At first I would like to know the cause of going for your transvaginal ultrasound scan. Secondly, your last menstrual date must be known.
The best way to confirm pregnancy is the home pregnancy test. This will show a positive result in more than 95% women if pregnant and test done at least 15 days after probable unprotected sex.

Once the urine pregnancy test is positive, an ultrasound scan should be done after the 5 or 6 weeks, to see gestation sac and on occasion fetal heart beat.

The transvaginal ultrasound scan report findings as above are normal in all respects. No mention of pregnancy is there.

Hope this helps.
