Total Hip Replacement. Using Indocap Pain Killer. What Could Be The Side Effect Of This Medication On Long Term?

Sir, I am Gopala Krishna K N, 43 years old and I had undergone review operation of Total Hip Replacement on 15/11/2013. Previously I undergone surgery in 2002 Long stem bypolar. Now I am using a pain killer INDOCAP SR suggested by my ortho surgeon. I am using this when ever I feel more pain. Can you pl. tell me what kind of side effects we will face with this tablet in future. How much time it will take for me to come out of pain.

The very well kwon side effects of analgesic is renal toxicity and you might be knowing that, if taken for a longer duration of time then this drug causes kidney problem, as long as pain is concer that is all depends upon the tendency of the patients to bare the pain if the pain is well tolerated by the patients then there is no need to take any analgesic so better to tolerate the pain, have nice day.
