Took Cortisone Injection, Antibiotics And Mucinex For Chest Congestion, Sinus Problem. Why Feeling Lightheaded And Having Tingling Sensation In Tongue?

HI! I'm at my office and am getting over a cold (day 6)....chest congestion, minor sinus problems. Went to my dr. yesterday and received a cortisone injection plus antibiotics and mucinex DMX. I'm not 100% by any means, but all of a sudden, I smelled a curious smell...not unlike something burning, but not exactly. My lips/tongue had a slight tingling sensation and I felt lightheaded. Still a little lightheaded, but the other symptoms seem to be gone. Any thoughts? It was very curious.

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the allergic rhinitis, and associated bacterial infection. It will continue to have this allergic symptoms, till the allergy ceases, If it is viral also, it will take some fixed time.
You need not worry about these symptoms, they will vanish by its own.
Avoid taking the fruits, juices, ice water, and ice creams, till you get complete relief.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
