Took Cialis And Passed Out. Takes Losartan Potassium. Related?

My husband took cialis for the first time and in the middle of the night he got up to go to the bathroom and passed out and went crashing to he floor and was out for about 30 seconds and did not even remember what had happened. He also takes losartan potassium but did not take it for a few days. Could it be a drug interaction?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Dizziness and fainting is very common after consumption of CIALIS.
That is why the person is asked to get up slowly from bed,if he has taken CIALIS.
This is the side effect of the drug and is not the case of drug interaction.
You must talk to the cardiologist and seek his advise for further use of CIALIS.
Make sure that he takes his blood pressure medicines regularly and avoid using sublingual nitrates if using CIALIS.
Thanks
