Teeth Pulled, Cold Sensation In Left Ear, Popping Sensation In Right Ear. Dental Condition?

A few weeks ago I had 3 teeth pulled on the upper left side, I think Im healing pretty well, however now I have been feeling like a cold sensation in my left ear it doesnt hurt just annoying. Also my right ear will all of a sudden start feeling like its poppng but its not popping just a sensation as if it is. Just wondering if maybe this had anything to do with my dental work or what?? Thank you

HELLO,
have the extraction socket healed properly?since 3 teeth in upper jaw has got extracted, there will be opening into maxillary sinus region.this is the reason of popping in ear.
this is a case of acute maxillary sinusitis.the tooth extraction has caused perforation of sinus.the organisms involved are s.pneumoniae,h.influenzae.
usual symptoms are moderate to severe pain with swelling over the sinus.pressing over the maxilla increases pain.often, the painful sensation is one of pressure.pain may be referred to various areas like cheek, posterior teeth and ear.
sinus pain increases when the patient bends over or is supine.there may be pus discharge into nose, fetid breath, fever, malaise.
transillumination/sinus view radiograph/computerised tomography can be used for final diagnosis.
the prime objective of treatment is the removal of infecting locus.this is particularly efficacious if the infection is of dental origin.
antibiotics should be taken as there is infection.healing is usually uneventful when this is done.

Hello Sheri,
Thanks for writing your query.
I read your problem, the detail given by you is not complete like
1.upper back teeth or front teeth has been removed?
2.Do you have any sort of infection now a days?etc.......
Any ways i do not think that it is related to dental work,so i will suggest you please go to an ENT surgeon as soon as possible and get the clinical examination done.
Nothing to get worried.

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

As three tooth where pulled on the left side there could be a chance of sinus perforation due to which you can have popping in the ear.
A thorough examination by the concerned Dentist is required to rule out the cause.
Also see an ENT specialist and get the checkup done.
Complete healing of extraction wound takes three months so maintain a good oral hygiene take lukewarm saline and antiseptic mouthwash rinses.

Hope this helps out,

Regards..
