Teenager With Foreskin Swollen, Had A Dosal Split, Taking Medication, Swelling Not Subsided. Time For Swelling To Subside?
dear sir, My son is 17. His foreskin is swollen for almost 2 weeks. No pain. Visited hospital doctor. They made a dosal split om him. After the surgery his foreskin is still swollen. The doctor said it will subside itself. Medication - antibiotic Zinnat & Papain. The swell did not subside at all. Need your help & advice. Also give him papaya to eat.

Hi ! Is he able to retract the fore skin or not ? If there is difficulty in retracting the foreskin due to some degree of phimosis, this could be the reason for swelling of the foreskin due to possible unnoticed minor trauma during masturbation. If this and any kind of insect bite or allergy is excluded, then may be your son may require a circumcision to get relief. Wishing him an early recovery.
