Taking Nifedipine And Lisinopril For High Blood Pressure But Still Having Slight High Reading. Is It Normal?

I am 40 years old and have high blood pressure and I am on nifedipine 60mg and lisinopril 20 mg and I have been testing my blood pressure at home and I take 3 readings each time and my readings range from 135/77 to 144/80. Is this okay? Am I on a good medicine regiment?

Dear sir

According to your blood pressure measurements it is appearing diastolic blood pressure is good.

Systolic blood pressure is little bit high, It is ideal to add a diuretic belong to class of thiazides, either hydrochlorothiazide or chlorothalidone once a day in the morning so that systolic blood pressure will decrease.

please consult your doctor for indivisual drug contraindications.

Thanks
