Taking Doxt-s And Deriva Gel For Red Pimples And Acne. Also Taking Tuberculosis Medicine
I am having red pimples with little acne on my face and sometimes on my back, so i used to take doxt-s tablets and applied deriva cms gel earlier they showed results but not now so i use ponds pimple clear, clean n clear face washes then apply lemon juice n aloe vera on my face for 45 mins and also my tuberculosis medicines are on. What should i do further To protect my face
Hi. seems tuberculosis medication that you are on may have aggravated your acne problem. One of the Medicine used in tuberculosis, Isoniazid has acneform eruptions as its side effect. It may the because of it that you are facing this problem. If i was your treating dermatologist i would advice you to be patient since as soon as your Tuberculosis treatment is completed you will notice an improvement in your acne. I would have adviced you to continue Doxt-s tab or may be switch over to oral Azithromycin. Continue with deriva-cms gel once daily at night and also use a topical antibacterial like clindamycin gel or benzoyl peroxide gel during the day for enhanced efficacy. Use a mild cleanser like cetaphil for face wash twice daily.
