I am a 55 year old male who has been on Androgel 5.0 for 5 years and want to know if it is causing prolems like fatigue and prevent me from losing weight. My worry is that I am Hiv and had starting taking Androgel after I recovered from phuemonia and cushing syndrome(due to a steriods given to me in the hospital and my Hiv meds clashing), I also came away from the hosptial with COPD and osterioposus. Hope you can tell me if there is any thing to worry about, I have been with my Doctor for 10 years but sorry to say lately when I tell him my concerns he tells me to try staying off it for now but not how it affects my other problems which also includes a 60 pound weight gain.
