Swollen, Red, Burning, Dry Lips. Used Vaseline. Help
I ve been applying Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm for two months and recently the edges of my upper lip started drying out and in 2 days my entire lip was swollen, red and burning and feeling stretchy, but its not chapped but feels extremely dry. It has happened to me twice before (had used Avon lip balm then) and i applied Smyle herbal gel and Vaseline and it worked. This time though it is not working. I ve been applying Smyle gel and Himalaya lip balm to cure it. If I use Nivea lip balm nothing happens though. it feels really nasty without anything on my lips and so I have to keep applying something. Please help...

Dry lips are usually seen due to change in weather.
Its good that you are applying vaseline.
Home remedies like application of butter also helps.
Avoid lip smacking, it actually increases the severity.
I would like to know, if you are taking any other medication for any disease.
Lip fissuring is a common side effect of many drugs.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

you may be allergic to some contents of balm initially the other creams make themsoft after their application
after many incidents the creams donot work
avoid the applications which donot paint n the affected parts three times a day before mealssuit you
you can treat now with anti allergics and triamsolone mouth
