Swelling In Ball Of The Foot, Bruising, Redness, Cold Feet. History Of Fibromyalgia. Treatment?

I was been diagnosed with fibromyalgia several years ago. I m used to odd pains that come and go, but this morning I woke to swelling in the ball of my foot (particularly under the index toe ), light bruising and slight redness visible even on the top. Also, my feet are usually very very cold. They are now quite warm. Aside from the fibro, I also have osteoarthritis , but no other systemic illnesses.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am sorry about your current health concern. What you could do is probably give some hot compresses locally to the affected toes. Take some anti-inflammatory drugs like Tyleonol.

There is no specific treatment for your concern; it needs to be managed symptomatically. Give adequate rest to your feet.

I hope this helps you and you get well soon.

Regards,
