Suggest Treatment To Improve Fertility
madam.. i have been having irregular periods from starting like once in 2 to 3 months. i consulted doctor she said its normal. but now i am married and i want to concieve. it have been 6 months since i married. and i am not getting priods even after the 3 months but test showed negative. what to do? how to deal this?

Hi,
Before planning to go for treatment, please remember the following points:
1. semen report of the husband must be seen before invasive investigations in the wife are advised.
2. infertility should be considered if a couple having 1 year (or 6 months at least) of regular coitus, in the fertile period, without contraceptives, have failed in conception.
3. Examine and investigate both partners simultaneously, if genitalia are normal, ask for:
. sperm count in male
. ultrasonography and tubal potency in female.
4. I sincerely ask you to consult a gynecologist or Endocrinologist ( for any anatomical defect or hormonal deficiency).
5. Remember very very few couples require sophisticated techniques like test tube baby etc. but a large number of couples require just a few drugs, proper sex counselling and sex education and reassurance.
