Suggest Treatment To Cure Body Rash Caused After Blood Transfusion

Hi

My Dad is 70 years and diagnosed with MDS since Feb this year.
He is now requring blood transfusion fortnightly and HB drops to 7.5.
Recent blood transfusion occured on thursday and has a rash over body and drowsy.... How can this be treated.

I really appreciate your concern for your father as the history suggest here this could be hypersensitivity reaction due to the blood transfusion and such reaction forms the urticarial rash and this can be treated with "Diphenhydramine tab three times I day" if does not responds then steroid can be added, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
