Suggest Treatment For Yeast Infection

Okay so my question is a bit awkward. I had a self diagnosed yeast infection about six months ago and I ve had sex with one man one time since. It s Been about a month since the sex and my discharge is like cottage cheese I guess and I m swollen red bumpy and have a rash down there and it burns. Is it just another yeast infection or an std? I ve only ever had sex once.

Infectious Diseases Specialist 's  Response
Hello ,
I understand your concern.
I am Dr. Arun Tank, infectious disease specialist, answering your concern.

No, its not STD it is different candida infection.

I suggest you to do microscopic examination once.

This will establish and confirm diagnosis. Once the result is available you can be treated according to the results available.

In most cases of candida infection clotrimazole vaginal pessary or fluconzole oral treatment can be taken. Please take the above medication under your doctors guidance.

Please test yourself for blood sugar analysis. If you are having the high sugar levels than to control it is very important. If it will not remain in the control than it will recurr.

Please maintain the good hygiene as it is the equally important tool as taking the treatment.

I will be happy to answer your further concern you can contact me here or you can contact me on bit.ly/DrArun
