Suggest Treatment For White Spots And Pain In The Throat

I just noticed a white spot on the left side of my throat. I don t think it is on my tonsil. It does not hurt. However, I have felt something in my throat area in the last few weeks but it doesn t hurt. Hard to describe. Sometimes I might cough up a white hard substance (I call it mucus that has been hard to cough up in awhile) and it looks like that, only it is on the wall of my throat area. I made an appointment to see my doctor tomorrow.
