Hi,
Based on your symptoms, I would like to rule out anemia and thyroid hormone imbalances.
Gastritis could also cause this (but has been ruled out by
endoscopy).
I recommend: (please exclude those already done)
-blood tests (
complete blood count, peripheral smear, TSH, free T3, free T4, Vitamin D levels, kidney and liver function tests,
lipid profile, blood glucose levels)
-stool analysis to check for parasites and occult blood
-urine analysis for protein loss
Based on the above tests and clinical exam findings, I could help you further.
May I suggest:
- try to eat bland and small meals every 2-3 hours. Eat even if not hungry.
- avoid caffeine/carbonated and sugary drinks
-avoid spicy, oily and fatty food till you feel better.
-if nausea is preventing you from eating, keep something like lemon, orange or mint next to you to curb nausea if you feel it. (poke a few holes in the fruit and smell its essence)
-Have cool milk and sips of water throughout the day. Stay well hydrated (urine should be pale color during the day).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein,
