i m 22 nd 103 pounds, 176 cm height. i m too much skinny nd very depressed about my health, everyone in my circle like in my family, friends nd class. they tease me nd say how skinny you are. i ve tried alot of diets nd doing everything to get weight but nothing i m still skinny. please help me that i want to get weight asap! please tell me any type of treatment, no matter how costly that is.... thank you
The cause of inability to gain weight should be identified. Nutritional deficiency, chronic infections, malabsorption syndromes, parasitic infestations, hyperthyroidism should be ruled out. The cause should be treated along with dietary changes. Healthy diet is foremost important for weight gain. Increase your daily protein intake to see good results.
Protein powder along with milk can be twice a day. Adequate hydration is also essential. Calculate your daily protein requirement based on body weight. Increase pulses, beans, eggs, curd and meat in your diet.
