General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are suffering from vertigo and dizziness after a dive. Your right ear feels full. Your cognitive functions are impaired. You also have short term memory loss. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT. The auditory injuries are usually acute in onset, but some do complain of hearing loss and tinnitus.

Tinnitus may be caused in divers due to middle or inner ear barotrauma, TMJ syndrome. Hearing loss or fullness in the ears may be due to round window rupture or inner ear decompression accident. Get clinically examined, get required tests and investigations done and get treated at the earliest. In the meantime to get relieve you can take vertin-16mg twice daily for 5-7 days. This will give you temporary relieve. Do not neglect, get treated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
