Suggest Treatment For Vericose Vein Which Is Itching
I just had varicose vein ssurgery last week and know it is itching like crazy have a rash and my skin is rasied where the surgery was. what could be the problem. It didn't start until the fourth day when I had the guaze taken off and took a shower. Ever since the itching comes and goes.

Hi, what surgery did you undergo? Open or Laser or RF? That will help to know what is causing the itching. Sometimes itching is a reaction to the cleaning agent used just before surgery but that usually happens soon after surgery. Healing wounds also can lead to itching. If it is troubling you, a soothing ointment like Soframycin can be used to give you relief. If there is redness or pain then you should see your Surgeon. Take care,
