General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, what is your age?
Varicose veins do not usually cause any problems.
Hardness that you mention could be a thrombosis or clot in the veins.
Do not worry. Get yourself examined by a Vascular Surgeon who would be able to help you out.
They can be managed by various means like Laser therapy or Radio-frequency ablation or open surgery.
I would be happy to help you with more details. You could leave me a Specialist or a Direct query for the same.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
