Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Yeast Infection
Very embarrassing but last weekend I had a lot of sex and I am pretty sure I have a yeast infection. What is the best over the counter meds to cure this. Now it is not so much the itching, it is more like an uncomfortable feeling and I read on WEB MD that it would cause you to release like a white odorless secretions. While mine are white they are not odorless. What should I do for this?

The yeast or fungal infection of vagina dies cause a lot of itching. It is white in appearance and curdy in look.
The main principles of the treatment are:
1. Clip the hair on the private parts flush to avoid painting of the discharge.
2. Till the treatment is complete, every day boil the undrclothes. After the treatment is complete, better change the underwears discarding the current.
3. Better to use panty liners.
Both the partners should have the treatment simultaneously.
There are locally applicalble antifungal medicines. Take them with your Gynaecologists opinion. Oral medicines should be deferred as far as possible.
Please keep in mind that there are other causes like Trichomonal infestation or bacterial vaginosis which also can give rise to white vaginal discharge. The Gynaecologist will have to examine you from the vagina for proper diagnosis and treatment.
