How Can A Vaginal Yeast Infection Be Treated?

I took antibiotics for 2 weeks and have developed a vaginal yeast infection. I did a 3 day treatment and was better but now it has returned. I am now starting a 7 day treatment in hopes it will cure it this time. The burn and itch is unbearable. What more can I do and will this 7 day treatment clear me up. I have only had one yeast infection in my life and that was when I was pregnant with my first child 42 years ago
