Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Irriatation

For about a year, the skin around my vulva, vagina, and perineum frequently tore or got extremely irritated when I was having sex regularly (this did not happen for the first year I was sexually active), and now that I'm not having sex right now, there is no tearing, but my skin is really dry and sensitive, and sometimes feels painful when I sit. I had a yeast infection about two months ago and went to a doctor, but I am pretty sure it cleared up because it felt different than my current vaginal/perineal situation right now. I don't know what I should do and I want to be able to have sex without worrying about tearing or irritation. Also, it's uncomfortable for me to even masturbate sometimes because the skin is so dry and chapped. I don't want to ignore this issue, because I want to live a healthy life, but all of the advice I have gotten and the doctors I have seen have not helped me treat this issue. Please help me!!
