Suggest Treatment For Type II Diabetes And Obesity

My husband, now 58, had 2 stents placed in his arteries 7 years ago. It was the result of 90% blockage. He is a Type II diabetic and a heavy smoker that will not take care of himself. He is 100 # overweight and is sedentary. I'm concerned that I will have to retire alone, a widow. What can I do for him?

Dear madam i can understand you concern.
i would like to tell you some basic steps in diabetes.
For a better diabetes control,Diabetes management can be divided in to four parts.

Part 1---30% of your diabetes control depends on daily exercise
Part 2---30% on your diet plan
Part 3---30% on your medication
part 4--10% on your stress management.
So in management of type 2 diabetes diet, physical activity and medicines will play equal role.Time maintenance is very important you need to take your food and medication in time.
Ask him to quit smoking
Regards
Best Regards.
