Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation In The Foot

I have a sciatic nerve issue in right leg. I have had it for many years, but in last year it is bothering more & right foot is tingling when I do certain activities. I am getting adjustments on my spine, exercise, & massage. it helps for short time, but has not eliminated the pain.

Hello,

I would recommend testing a NCS and MR Neurography of both the lower limbs. Most commonly sciatica occurs because the nerve is getting compressed in some spot during its course.

I would recommend testing the above mentioned test so that the exact spot can be identified. Since, your symptoms are increasing despite conservative treatment, it may be necessary to decompress the compressive site operatively.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saumya Mittal
