I m not sure if i m suffering from borderline personality disorder as i have just read through the traits and i think all of them are very true. For example i feel very empty all the time, i have engaged in self harm and i do when i get very upset, i have a hard time controlling anger, i always have large mood sifts and my view of people can change dramatically.

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com. I believe that you are on the right track with the diagnosis. Now what to do about it? Well it has been shown that;
1 . Psychotherapy plus medications has the best proven outcome. So that means that you will need to see psychologist/psychiatrist for the initiation of treatment. I hope this helps and best of luck and thank you for your question.
2. I would prescribe a mood stabilizer known as valproate as this would curb and treat symptomology related to anger, self harm, depression and interpersonal problems.

I hope that this helps and good luck, and thanks for your question.
