Suggest Treatment For Swollen Blister On The Left Lower Lip
Went to the dentist yesterday at 4:00 pm to have a deep cleaning done on my left side of mouth, later that night around 9 pm when the novacane was wearing off I notices a big swollen blister on the left lower lip more on the inside part of my mouth?? Why? Did the dental procedure do this?
So sorry to hear about your problem and will try my best to resolve it..
As per your complain a swollen blister on the lower lip on the inside part after wearing off the novocaine shot seems to be due to formation of a ulcer that can be due to trauma caused by the dental instrument or can be due to lip biting caused as the area might be numb with novocaine and due to it there seems to be formation of a traumatic ulcer.. I would suggest you to start applying numbing gel over it if there is pain.. You can apply steroid ointment like Triamcinolone Acetonide to reduce inflammation.. Do cool compresses over it.. Avoid spicy and hard foods.. In case if it does not improve consult an oral physician and get evaluated..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
