Suggest Treatment For Swollen Ankles
My mother has swollen ankles, breathing is ok, blood pressure is 125/65 pulse 76; Ankles have been swollen for several days; She has history of heart problems Broken Heart Syndrome Wondering what steps can be taken before going to Doctor tomorrow.

I have gone through your query. Heart or kidney problems can give edema of legs. Other common cause which give edema is drugs like amlodipine. Get an Ecg and renal function test to asses any cardiac or kidney dysfunction. In case of heart failure diuretic drugs will be needed.
