Hi

I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

Pain during sex can be due to many conditions like emotional instability, vaginal dryness ( reduced lubrication) , vaginismus, genital injury etc.
Pain occurs once the penis is entering or its completely in.

I advice you to have
* Increased foreplay
* application of 20% xylocaine gel in & around vagina for 15minutes & wipe it off.
* Avoid medications like birthcontrol pills, antihistamines etc.
* exercises to relax vagina
* counselling to get rid of anxiety.
* Also treat the swelling of labia with a course of Antibiotics (tab. Amoxiclav 625mg twice daily) if needed, Daily Sitz bath & Analgesics if needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
