Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Bruised Calf Muscle After Injury

I received a hard knock on my leg/inside calf area by a large dog as he ran by - the pain was pretty bad. I bruise easily (on prednisone for 20 years+) so ran to get ice immediately and applied and tried elevating though not for long as i should have. Notice in the next week that I had apparently had internal bleeding as my foot heel area was showing bruising, the change of colors etc. Now the area where i received the hard knock is very soft to touch, almost like touching a water bed, you touch the middle and the sides move, etc., the size of the area is about 2" roundish in shape. This is now at least 4 wks later. It is sore, but I would not consider it painful. It almost like where the dog hit my leg that muscle or tissue is missing inside and just soft to touch. Any suggestions. I just heard about Serena Williams and pulminary blood clot and now I'm wondering if this could be something I sould be concerned about. Should I?
