Suggest Treatment For Swelling Patches On Legs And Back

My son, M-33 is having swelling patches on his leg , back on pelvis and on hand.He is a RTA patient taking Cognix plus and Myotop 150 since 2 to 3 years. For present condition he is taking Hicope 25 since yesterday. This allergy has started since last 25 days.Initially we gave him cetrizine and avil.Of course those responded. But after some days the same reappeared because of our kistake in giving egg once and mushroom once.We have stopped giving him brinjal, mushroom, egg, fish might be culprit for this abnormal condition.Pl. advise for needful action for recovery.Thanks,M.G.Subudhi.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It seems like an allergic reaction. It is advisable to avoid foods that he is allergic to. You can give him Cetirizine tablet once again as he have symptoms now. If the problem persist or if he develop and signs like facial swelling, breathing problems etc., consulting your nearest physician would be advisable.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
