General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The swelling of the feet may be a sign of heart failure. It is important that he sees his doctor and has a heart ultrasound to rule this out.
Some blood tests to check liver and kidney function may be needed as well.

According to the findings in these tests and examinations, the doctor will have to determine further management plan for your husband.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
