Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Carpal tunnel syndrome is common in pregnancy. It causes pain , tingling and swelling in hand. It is usually relieved in 3 months after delivery.
But if you are having severe pain and swelling,I wowould suggest you to consult a neurologist and get proper examination and treatment done. You can be given wrist splints or corticosteroids injection at this stage to relieve the symptoms. If neurologist finds any nerve deficit, he may advise you surgery to treat this syndrome.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.

Dr Deepti Verma
